Maybe it's because of the beauty of this area but the people here are among the friendliest, most good-natured, and warm-hearted that I have met anywhere.

Public Parks: No Children Allowed?

I just read this: Mother Arrested For Leaving Her Kids In A Park While She Went To A Food Bank. It was a chilling read for reasons you may not expect!

This post was inspired by a comment that Facebook Fan Page Likes are practically useless. Actually, if you have a fan page (and if you are an author you should), "Likes" are important to the success of your page.

Faith or No Faith: Does It Matter?

You might say that in life the good things are whatever get you through the day. In that respect, for some people, faith in god(s) is a good thing. Yet, one of the main problems in human culture is taking responsibility for our actions.

our dog,Bailey Jenkinson

Epilepsy is found in all breeds and mixed breeds of dogs, that's why I am really glad we knew Gracie. Gracie was a very sweet little Italian Greyhound who lived with my husband's niece and Gracie had epilepsy. If Gracie's caregiver, Cindy, hadn't told us about the condition, I don't know if we would have kept our dog Bailey or not.
