Today the Washington Post ran another story about the Anne Frank family. This one was the 'news' that her father, like thousands of other Jews, was refused entry into the US. I understand why the Anne Frank story frequently reappears in the headlines even today, but isn't it time we let her rest in peace?

I once went to a party with a friend. The snow had just started falling and it was the first time I had ever driven in snow. The party was at a house rented by several young men. One of them owned a female dog that was half Golden Lab and half German Shepherd. Another had a male dog that was half Doberman and half Greyhound. The two dogs got together and ended up with a family of 7 puppies. The boys managed to find a home for 6 of them, but there was one left over.

A while back I saw the quote above. It exactly fits my philosophy and while I couldn’t source it, I am grateful to whoever said it first.
I believe that environmental awareness starts at home. While our changing environment is a worldwide problem, most folks can do little to solve it on a global scale. Yet, if we break up the environment into smaller chunks, we can do something to change our personal environments: the quality of life in our homes and our cities. We can each take small steps that will result in an improvement. For instance, clean water.

The name "title tag" is really a misnomer. There is no such thing. Title is used in two different areas of html. One is the title element and the other is the the title attribute.
