Donald Trump talks about "extreme vetting" of immigrants. It is peculiar that he is running for the highest office in American and nobody thought to "vet" Donald Trump or any other candidate up-ballot or down-ballot.
Although Secretary Clinton was the clear winner of the first presidential debate, there were a few things I wish she would have jumped on that she seemed to have missed.
Top of the list is Trump's maintaining that he will bring jobs back to America. What jobs is he talking about? He blatantly mentioned his investments and buildings in Europe during the debate. How did his foreign projects contribute to making America great?
Bill Mahr compares Donald Trump to an orangutan, but he may have the wrong species in mind. The other day, someone on Twitter mistakenly called Trump a "bafoon". It was hard to tell whether they meant buffoon or baboon, but either fits. In fact, bafoon is a word that exactly describes Donald Trump.
At the DNC Clinton said she will be President of us all. Maybe someone needs to remind her of that.
The Washington Post reported that at a recent fundraiser, Hillary Clinton said, "You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the 'basket of deplorables'. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it."
We are a strong people who have never been afraid of progress. We have no reason to fear others whether they look different than we do or believe differently than we do because we understand that it is our very differences that make us strong.
We certainly have no reason to fear our own government because our forefathers were brilliant enough to establish a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. We are the government.
It seems that Hillary Clinton just can't get a break and anyone who tries to give her one is cannon fodder. The latest media flap is over some answers Ruth Bader Ginsberg gave to some interview questions. Justice Ginsberg came out in public support of Clinton. Apparently the beltway believes that Ginsberg is not entitled to voice her opinions.
It's striking how similar what comes out of the back of a garbage truck is to what comes out of Donald Trump's mouth .
Will the final Republican Presidential candidate be presidential or will he just be too big to flush? While some species of marine fish look good on the outside, they don’t play well with their own kind. In fact, they will fight to the death to win the territory. It's similar to what is happening in the Republican Presidential race.
President Obama takes the blame for the Dems big losses last Tuesday. In an interview on Face the Nation last Sunday he said, “We have not been successful in going out there and letting people know what it is that we’re trying to do and why this is the right direction,” he said Sunday.”
If you believe everything you read, you most likely believe that somewhere there is a Middle Earth, a Hogwarts, and a 100 Acre Woods where a bear is best friends with a pig. “What?” you say, that’s all fiction. Well, much of what we read comes from the imagination of the writer, no matter where we read it.
