Medicare for All — An Earned Entitlement

helping hand

Politicians would have you believe that Medicare is a free health benefit the government gives to Senior Citizens and that Medicare-for-all will be a drain on the country's finances. — Not True

When Your Pet Makes Them Sick

If you have an allergy and I have a dog, who has the right of way in the space we both want to occupy?

Choice

Choice

Who wouldn’t be pro-life? But, pro-life is a misleading term because the ideology behind it isn’t pro-life at all. The anti-choice legislators of Georgia, Alabama, and 26 other states would like you to believe their actions are part of the pro-life movement . These laws are not pro anything. Their objective is to set women back half a century by overturning the hard-fought and finally won rights recognized by Roe v. Wade.

Dad's Slippers

We all have momentary lapses in memory. We laugh and call them “Senior Moments” and sometimes, that’s all they are. But, for some of us, they are the beginning of Alzheimer’s and there is no way to determine which is which or what's next.

Fear of Heights May be a Physical Condition: BPPV

Ferris wheel

I don't know why or when it happened, but I don't remember a time when I wasn't afraid of heights. Even so, I do remember diving from the "high" board at our municipal swimming pool and I did enjoy riding the Ferris wheel and roller coaster when the carnival came to town. Understanding Epilepsy in Dogs

our dog,Bailey Jenkinson

Epilepsy is found in all breeds and mixed breeds of dogs, that's why I am really glad we knew Gracie. Gracie was a very sweet little Italian Greyhound who lived with my husband's niece and Gracie had epilepsy. If Gracie's caregiver, Cindy, hadn't told us about the condition, I don't know if we would have kept our dog Bailey or not.

ADHD

There's a rumor going around that ADHD is madeup by Monsanto and big pharma. It could not be further from the truth. If you have a child who tries to climb the walls, you know that ADHD is a real and horrible condition. Those scoffers, who think they have a cannon in the fight against big pharma and big chemical companies, are in the wrong part of the battlefield.
